Cythor: research and development of the ultimate mind interface"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."Arthur C. Clarke's Third LawWe are entering the age of sufficiently advanced technology. People will be able to contact any other person or information from anywhere in the world. They will be able by wave of a wand to open doors, make purchases, turn lights on and off and more. Cythor.org: Technology Is Indistinguishable from Magic is dedicated to bringing news of this new technology to you.

| The current interface is very limiting, consisting mostly of moving a pointer around on a small 2-dimensional window. This area should show rapid development in the near future. Being able to interface with all existing knowledge in a way that is meaningful to the individual would create a revolution in how thinking is done. What would be needed is a more direct approach with the ultimate mind interface. Don't think this is solely the province of science fiction (although plenty of science fiction has been written about this). This site will take you on a tour of the existing state of the art of the ultimate mind interface and predict some of where it is going. | |||||||||||
| What would the ultimate mind interface be like? The universe has been producing minds with ever more access to information and the world around it. There may be limits to ultimate mind the universe can generate. For example, Kurt Gödel provided a mathematical proof that under a given consistency condition, any sufficiently strong formal axiomatic system must contain a proposition such that neither it nor its negative is provable and that any consistency proof for the system must use ideas and methods beyond those of the system itself. But the ultimate mind interface this universe can generate has a long way to go. | |||||||||||

| The internet has shown a little of what this would be like. But it is the interface that is the limiting factor. What would you do if you had access to all the worlds knowledge where every you went? You would wake up in the morning with a compiled list of the activities that maximum your talents compared with the activities of others in the world. You would interact with an interface that understands you gestures, spoken commands and ultimately your very thoughts. | |||||||||||

This website is devoted to the research and development of this ultimate mind interface. Of course, there is overlap among these different ways. Manipulation interfaces - this is what is the current interface. You manipulation a pointer on a screen. You type in text. A big jump would be to interact via speaking. Also, use of gestures to manipulate objects around you. Non-invasive mind interface - This would be a some sort of interface directly with your mind. Far-fetch - certainly now. But not forever! Invasive mind interface Invasive ways are already beginning with the brain implants. This is currently to restore function of hearing, sight, or lose of limb control. World as Interface - Ultimately the whole world would serve as an interface. The objects you encounter in the world you control via speaking with or using gestures.
